EXPLORACIÓN FUNCIONAL Y NEUROMODULACIÓN DEL SISTEMA NERVIOSO
Somos un grupo de investigadores clínicos y básicos cuyo interés principal es el estudio y la investigación de la fisiología, así como la aplicación clínica de técnicas no-invasivas de neuromodulación del sistema nervioso. Además, realizamos evaluaciones funcionales del sistema nervioso central y periférico en trastornos neurológicos, como es la lesión medular. Todo ello con el objetivo final de la translación a un entorno clínico. El laboratorio cuenta con toda el equipamiento necesaria para poder llevar a cabo dichos abordajes

Study of the neurophysiological mechanisms involved in central fatigue (in healthy volunteers, in patients with spinal cord injury and in patients with multiple sclerosis)

Treatment of central fatigue in spinal cord injury using cannabinoid receptor antagonists/inverse agonists. Carried out in collaboration with the Molecular Neuroprotection Group (GNPM) of the HNP. This project is financed through an agreement with the company Samos Medical Enterprise S.L.U.
