Cognitive and Affective Science Lab

Our research focuses, broadly, on cognitive and affective processes that ultimately lead to conscious experience. Which brain organization and dynamics underlie these processes? How are they affected in mental disorders? What is the role of expectations on how we experience the world? We have a multidisciplinary approach with different techniques, including behavior, noninvasive brain stimulation and neuroimaging.

The CASLab is located at the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona).
